As far as HGT (Half Group Task) is concerned it is almost replica of PGT (Progressive Group Task) except the fact that your group will be divided into two subgroups of 5-7 candidates. While working in a bigger group many of you might feel that you were unable to perform better then here is a chance for you to perform as per your own liking. The heart and soul of all the GTO Tasks is the word Group.
Importance of HGT
Some of you might take HGT lightly but friends this is not less than any other task as it is a replica of PGT. In SSB Interview each and every task has its own importance; same is the case with HGT. The HGT gives GTO to judge your performance among fewer candidates, it happens that few dominating candidates are there in the group they will not let others perform or suggest anything but with half group task GTO gives you a chance to perform without or with few such Candidates.
You can take the advantage of HGT and perform well for achieving the goal of your group. Here chances are more that GTO will notice your qualities.
Don’t try to show your qualities
Friends, this is not for this task but for all tasks in GTO. Don’t perform to show your qualities just feel that GTO is a blind person; perform to achieve the objective of your group. Don’t try to seek the attention of GTO. GTO is already smart enough to Judge you.
Discipline is Important
When one group is performing the HGT the other group will not be able to see the task because the next group will also be given the same task. Few candidates try to sneak and look at the task, but why you put your chances of selection at risk for a task that you can complete easily.
What should you do?
You should put your suggestion don’t force. Make a common consensus among your group about a particular matter. If somebody else gave a better idea than accept it and help your group to complete the task. Your group must feel it’s because of you, they were able to complete the task.
