SSB Interview Do you have it in you?
If you are among those who qualified AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) exam conducted by Indian Air Force (IAF) then we would like to inform you about further selection procedure.
After few days you can log into your account on IAF website and select your AFSB Interview Date and Venue. Thereafter you have to report on the selected date to the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) for which you have opted. Candidates getting recommended from AFSBs will be then detailed for the medical exam which will last for 5 to 7 days.
The selection of AFSB date and the venue is based on first come first served basis so you must make your mind in advance so as to which Board and Date you will decide. Candidates can choose from four boards i.e. Dehradun, Mysore, Varanasi, and Gandhinagar.
All Candidates can check their Individual Marks by logging in their Account on IAF’s website.
Check List before selecting AFSB Date and Venue
1. Make sure that you don’t have any other exam on the date on which you are planning to go for AFSB interview.
2. You must decide the venue based on your own comfort. Candidates going to AFSB for the first time will be reimbursed Traveling Allowance.
3. Candidates currently studying in final year of their degree course must make sure that the date which they are selecting for AFSB Interview is not clashing with their End Semester Exam dates.
4. Candidates opting for Gandhinagar Board must make sure that they select dates as quickly as possible because there is less number of slots allotted for Gandhinagar Board. You might miss the chance of attending your Interview on your preferred date.
5. Be careful in selecting your AFSB Date and Venue because once selected and submitted it will be final and you have to toil hard to get an alternate date and the venue can’t be changed.
6. If any of your relative or friend is working on a particular board then you have to opt for any other board.
7. We suggest you to selected your AFSB date through a PC(Personal Computer) instead of Mobile phone
8. You must not be a local resident of the city which you are opting for AFSB Interview.
