AFCAT 2013 Result | Cut Off Marks | IAF AFCAT 1 2013

The Result of Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) held on 24 February 2013 is declared now you can check the result by click the link in the box. Although huge no. of applicant appeared for the exam and there were few changes to the procedure of exam as compared to last year.

AFCAT 1/2013 Cut off Marks – The cut off marks for this year’s AFCAT exam is 144 Marks out of 300 and also this year candidates are claiming that the question paper was a bit tough as compared to last year.

In IAF’s AFCAT 2013 Candidates were given an OMR (Optical mark recognition) Sheet while last year they were given answer sheets which were evaluated by hands. By including the OMR sheets one thing is clear that there will be no error in evaluation. However if a candidate has marked his or her answer he or she can’t change if he/she wishes to change which in previous AFCAT Exams it was possible.

another benefit of OMR sheets is that the result of AFCAT exam held on 24th February 2013 will be declared fast. Although Indian Air Force (IAF) has a reputation of quickly evaluating the answer sheet even without the OMR sheets they published result in around 45 days. So, in 2013 you can expect a bit earlier.

Talking about the CUT OFF Marks for AFCAT 01/2013 cut off is 144 Marks despite of the fact that this year paper was a bit tough the cut off went 1 mark high.

The First part that of English was tough one as the comprehension it self was tough at this level. Second comes the Synonyms and Antonyms every one knows the fate of them. However the Error Detection and Fill in the blanks section was touch easy. Rest of the question paper was also tough.
