This question is constantly coming in the minds of students who are looking to apply for SSC CGL 2018 but currently studying in the final year of their graduation. For all such candidates, the answer is
Yes, the candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation can also apply, however they must possess Essential qualification on or before 01.082018.
This means that your result (of graduation) must be declared on or before 01.08.2018, however, in most universities, the degree is awarded at the much later stage but the date of declaration of result is mentioned and that date must be 01.08.2018 or before that.
All candidates who are declared qualified by the Commission for appearing at the Data Entry Skill Test/ Computer Proficiency Test will be required to produce the relevant Certificates such as Mark sheets for all the three years of Graduation/ Provisional Certificate/ Certificate of Graduation in original as proof of having acquired the minimum educational qualification on or before the 1st August, 2018, failing which the candidature of such candidates will be cancelled by the Commission. The Candidates who are able to prove, by documentary evidence, that the result of the qualifying examination was declared on or before the cut-off date and he/ she has been declared passed, will also be considered to meet the Educational Qualification.
