How to change SSB Interview Date

Many times it happens that your SSB Interview Dates falls when you are having some unavoidable circumstances and you can’t attend the Interview on that date. There may be a number of reasons such as your college exam, the wedding of a sister or any very close relative, medical emergency, administration problem in your area such as flood/curfew etc.

To make a request regarding changing the date of Interview you need to contact Army/Navy/Airforce Board (as the case may be) from which you received a call regarding interview. You should send in writing your request mentioning the reason/reasons and must attach documentary evidence with it. It is important to note that while sending your representation you must write your name, dob, father’s name, roll no., registration no., SSB Interview Batch Number and every detail that is given in your call letter as that detail will help the authority to track your record in the board.

Thereafter wait for a reply from the Board or better if you try contacting them on call and make sure to ask the details of the persons with whom you talked. Generally candidates complaints about that nobody picks up call at the selection center and that’s true but we don’t have another option but to try.

Make request to correct center

If you received the call letter from Allahabad then you need to contact Selection Centre East which is another name for Allahabad board. You don’t need to contact Army/Navy/Air Force Headquarter to change the SSB interview dates as they will not be able to entertain your request.

How to contact Selection Center

To request for the change in dates you need to contact that particular selection center from which you got the call letter. The contact details of the board are given in the call letter itself and also you can get contact details from our website.

Change of SSB Center

The only change in date is allowed, change in place of Interview will not be entertained. This means if your SSB Interview is scheduled at Allahabad then you can’t request to change it to Bhopal.

Absentee Batch

Generally, Indian Army declares a date for absentees for all courses but not always. You need to confirm if there is an absentee batch for that particular course or not. The date of the absentee batch will be mentioned in your call letter. Make sure to carry some documentary proof regarding you’re not attending the SSB interview on your primary date.

AFCAT entry of IAF

In AFCAT entry of IAF you need to select your SSB dates yourself so you must keep various factors in mind before selecting any date. Even if there is any emergency falls then you can request the concerned Air Force Selection Board to change the Interview Date.

Never Miss your SSB Interview

Indian Army will entertain you even if your train is late, generally they will allow you next scheduled date for SSB.
