Honorable Supreme Court said that there will be no leniency shown while sentencing the criminals in cases of Crime against Women.
Justices Sathasivam and Gogoi said that there are a no. of tough laws to punish offenders but the current sentencing system has some weakness in it.
After the Delhi gang-rape case the demand for strict punishment for offender was raised, peoples were protesting across the length and breadths of the country. Earlier the Home Minister also said that he will ensure proper punishment to the criminals.
