AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test conducted by Indian Air Force twice during a year for the selection of young men and women to be inducted as an officer after rigorous one-year training at the Air Force Academy, Hyderabad. The level of exam is of average to a moderate level and one having some common knowledge of things around us can easily clear this exam. This exam is conducted for Flying, Technical and Ground Duty Branches of Indian Air Force. For Technical Branch there is an additional exam named Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) which is required to be qualified by a candidate to prove his/her eligibility for Technical Branches of IAF.
